Avident Health was founded in 2014 by Dr. Maen Farha with a mission to address the most challenging aspects of his daily care: managing a complex treatment environment with multiple providers while remaining engaged with patients and simplifying the patient journey.

Dr. Maen Farha, is a practicing breast surgeon with over 30 years of experience in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Farha founded Avident Health with a vision of creating integrated tools to simplify and facilitate communication, collaboration, and engagement of patients, providers, and their loved ones undergoing cancer treatment.

Dr. Farha is committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment, which brings together various specialists who collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans. Eligible patients also have access to the latest clinical trials.

    Maen Farha, MD, is the medical director of the MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital Breast Center and a faculty member in the Department of Surgery. Board certified in surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Farha has been diagnosing and managing malignant and benign breast disease for more than 20 years.

    Mr. Farha is a seasoned professional in strategic planning, project management, business systems analysis, and IT implementation in health care. He has led implementations of clinical tools across health systems of all sizes and is experienced in working with stakeholders to define and develop new products.

    Tan Lu, Chief Product Officer

    Tan has spent more than 20 years building enterprise-grade IT solutions with a focus on security and mobile technologies. He has been the technical brain behind AvidentHealth and, as CPO, is responsible for the continued enhancement to our platform.

  • Linda Wieczynski, Clinical Coordinator

    Mrs. Wieczynski has 30+ years RN experience mostly in women’s health, cancer navigation, and cancer screening. She is an experienced business development lead, with 20+ years experience in grant writing, and grant management, quality, and performance.

    Mr. Borowiecki has 25+ years for-profit & non-profit health care leadership, operations & project management. He has led major organ/tissue donation info system implementation and has support Baxter, Becton Dickinson, Transplant Resource Center of Maryland.
